About the Principal

Get to Know the Principal – Mr. Jameson

Background:

  • 26 years in education, including 19 years as an administrator in elementary and middle schools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Master’s degree in Educational Leadership both from Brigham Young University — Go Cougs!
  • Grew up in Lynden, WA, and Las Vegas, NV. Has lived in Utah since 1994
  • Married with five kids, ages 16-24 and a Shih-tzu named Calais

Fun Facts: Mr. Jameson likes to tell jokes on the morning announcements and loves airplanes. He learned to fly in a 1946 Ercoupe, but his favorite aircraft is the P-51 Mustang.

  • 2008 & 2009 PTA Outstanding Administrator for Region 6
  • 2003 Southwest Valley Teacher of the Year for Riverton Elementary
