A shout out to our own Jasmine Gould who received a surprise award today.
Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Office and the Unified Police Department received an abundance of donations for their Shopping with the Shield program this year. This program supports citizens in need through donations from members of the organizations.
This year, the organization wanted to expand their support to heroes in the classroom by purchasing much-deserved gifts for them. Nominations were made by organization members, and Mrs. Gould was chosen after being nominated by Officer Jonkman. Her award of a $200 gift card was presented this morning.
