- Welcome/Roll Call
Present: Scott Jameson (Principal), Rachel Anderson (Chair), Louisa Whittaker Brooks, Pam Brooks, John Castro, Dawn Davis, Noelle Jones, Jorge López, Katie Rowley
Not Present: Rebecca Brown, Lori Hatton, Teylor Soto, Kristy Whiteside
Guests: Jessica Davies (PTA President Elect)
- Approve SCC Minutes from 4/18/23
John Castro made a motion to approve the minutes from 4/18/23. Pam Brooks seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously by those members who were present at the meeting.
- School Safety Updates
Scott Jameson explained that there will be a public health emergency drill for faculty on 5/17/23.
- Discuss SCC Open Seats for 2023-24 Year
Rachel Anderson notified the council that the parent positions of Kristy Whiteside, Rebecca Brown, and herself are expiring in October. The school positions of Jorge Lopez and Noelle Jones are also expiring in October. Everyone else has another year left on their two year terms. Parents are welcome to apply again and serve consecutive terms.

The Council congratulated Noelle Jones as her appointment to the role of Principal at Silver Mesa Elementary School.
