2. Review and Approval of January 20, 2026 SCC Minutes
A motion to approve the January 20, 2026, minutes was made by Principal Jameson and seconded by Alisa.
Vote: All in favor. Motion approved.
3. School Safety Updates
Assistant Principal Wesley Morgan
- February Safety Drill: Conducted during the faculty meeting and focused on hazardous materials.
- Upcoming March Safety Drill: Carbon monoxide evacuation drill. The exact time will not be announced in advance.
- Additional Safety Concerns: A question was raised regarding biohazard materials. Mr. Morgan explained that all custodial staff have received proper training to handle such situations.
4. Review of 2025–2026 TSSP Progress and Budgets

Mid-Year Acadience Data
- 74% of students met the benchmark in Reading Composite.
- Math Composite benchmark scores increased by 11.5% schoolwide.
Mid-Year SRSS-IE Data
- A decrease of 7 students in externalizing behaviors.
- A decrease of 24 students in internalizing behaviors.
TSSP/Land Trust Budget Update
Mr. Jameson explained that due to the implementation of a new budget management program, the current Land Trust balance was only recently confirmed. The school has a larger positive balance than anticipated.
Proposed uses for remaining funds include:
- Student planners and materials
- End-of-year Olympics
- Student incentives
- Additional day for teachers to work on the new math curriculum, CFA development, and Spanish Language Arts
A motion to approve the amendment was made by Lucy and seconded by Tricia.
Vote: All in favor. Motion approved.
Amendment: Allocate funds to pay teachers for an additional 8 hours related to the items listed above.
5. Development of 2026–2027 TSSP/Land Trust Plans
Principal Jameson presented a rough draft of the Goal Action Plans for feedback.
Focus Areas:
- Math
- Reading
- Behavior
Final approval of the complete plan will take place at the March meeting.
Plans Due: April 13, 2026
