2.  Approve SCC Minutes from 2/20/2024 – Chair Katie Rowley

3. BTS – Terri Culberson – Jared Denton arrived

Due to the new brain booster schedule, Terri will only be able to see students twice a month. She is seeking support to have the district fund 7 more hours each week for Beverly-Taylor Sorenson teachers. Right now, there is funding to hire an additional fine arts teacher, but we would like that funding to go to our BTS music teacher (Mrs. Culberson). The board will be revisiting the issue, please email the board to support additional funding for BTS – not an additional brain booster teacher.

4.  School Safety Updates – Principal Scott Jameson

• This month – carbon monoxide evacuation drill
• 4/18 – great Utah shake out (earthquake drill), duck/cover & full evacuation
• Doors by the lunchroom are locked during the day (parent concern)

5. Staffing Updates – Principal Scott Jameson – Emily Cross arrived

• Tami Malan is retiring
• Teresa Olpin is retiring
• Andrea Johnstone is resigning
• 2^nd grade positions have been filled
• 1^st grade position has been filled by Janae Hunt
• Courtney Ferrara (3^rd) & Lindsey Mann (5^th) are switching
• 5^th grade position (neighborhood is open)
• We will no longer have a ½ time SPED teacher
• Manuel will be doing Playworks (an additional playground hire is needed)
• Jessica Davies will be in the front office
• 14hr person for library is needed

6. 2023-24 TSSP/Land Trust Plan Review, Approve, and Sign Signature Sheet – Principal Scott Jameson – Rachel Anderson left at 3:59, Jared Denton left at 4:15

Plan was reviewed – the action plan was presented. Present members signed and approved the plan. See attached.
